How we work
What to expect when you contact us
When you get in touch with Drone Survey Network, you are contacting a managed network — not a single operator. That means we can cover any location across the UK and all 50 US states, and we can match your project to a pilot with the specific certifications and equipment your survey requires.
For survey enquiries, we aim to respond within 2 hours during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm GMT / 9am–5pm EST). We will ask for your site location, the type of survey required, and your preferred timeline. If you have drawings or a site plan, attaching them to your message helps us provide a more accurate quote.
For general enquiries, membership questions, or advertiser enquiries, our standard response time is within 24 hours. For urgent survey requirements — for example, post-storm damage assessments or time-critical construction milestones — please note "URGENT" in your subject line and we will prioritise your enquiry.
UK enquiries
Our UK operations are managed from London. We cover England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. All UK surveys are carried out by CAA GVC-certified pilots holding a valid Operational Authorisation (OA) or A2 Certificate of Competency, with a minimum of £1 million public liability insurance (most pilots carry £5 million).
US enquiries
Our US operations are managed from Austin, Texas. We cover all 50 states. All US surveys are carried out by FAA Part 107 certified remote pilots. For surveys in controlled airspace (Class B, C, D, or E), our pilots hold the relevant LAANC authorisations or waivers required to operate legally at your site.
If you are unsure which type of survey you need, our project discussion tool walks you through the options in under three minutes and provides an indicative quote.
