OUR PROCESS
Brief & Scoping
We discuss your project requirements, site access, and deliverable format to plan the optimal survey approach.
Flight Operations
CAA-approved pilots mobilise to site. All flights conducted under Operational Authorisation with full risk assessment.
Data Processing
Raw imagery and sensor data is processed using photogrammetry and LiDAR pipelines to produce survey-grade outputs.
Delivery & Support
Deliverables are shared via secure download. We provide format guidance and post-delivery technical support.
Our capabilities
Drone survey services for construction, infrastructure, and property
Drone Survey Network provides commercial drone survey services across the UK and USA through a managed network of CAA GVC and FAA Part 107 certified pilots. We cover three core service areas — aerial mapping, site inspections, and survey deliverables — each supported by a defined methodology, accuracy specification, and deliverable standard.
Aerial mapping surveys produce georeferenced orthomosaics, digital elevation models, and point clouds from drone-captured imagery. They are used for topographic surveys, construction progress monitoring, volumetric calculations, and planning applications. Site inspections use close-range drone photography and thermal imaging to assess the condition of roofs, facades, structures, and infrastructure without the need for scaffold or rope access.
Coverage and certification
All UK surveys are carried out under CAA Operational Authorisation, covering flights in all airspace categories including controlled airspace around major airports where LAANC or specific CAA permission is required. All US surveys are carried out by FAA Part 107 certified remote pilots, with LAANC authorisation for controlled airspace operations.
We cover all 50 US states and the whole of the UK. For projects in remote locations, offshore, or in complex airspace, contact us before booking to confirm pilot availability and any additional permissions that may be required. Most standard survey locations can be confirmed within 24 hours.
