Every project in this portfolio was completed by a CAA GVC or FAA Part 107 certified pilot operating under a valid Operational Authorisation. We do not use hobbyist equipment or unlicensed operators. Every survey is planned in advance, flown to a documented methodology, and processed to a defined accuracy specification — so clients receive data they can use in engineering, planning, and legal contexts.
The case studies shown here represent a cross-section of the work we carry out across the UK and USA. They range from single-building roof inspections completed in a morning to multi-day topographic surveys of large development sites. Each one includes the survey type, location, deliverables produced, and — where the client has given permission — a summary of how the data was used.
Accuracy and deliverable standards
All aerial mapping surveys in this portfolio were processed to a horizontal accuracy of ±2–5cm and a vertical accuracy of ±3–7cm, verified against ground control points. Inspection reports were produced to a standardised condition rating framework, with findings graded 1–5 and accompanied by annotated imagery and recommended remedial actions.
Deliverables were provided in client-specified formats — GeoTIFF orthomosaics, LAS/LAZ point clouds, DXF contour data, and PDF inspection reports — compatible with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS, and QGIS. If you have a specific format or accuracy requirement for your project, contact us before booking and we will confirm compatibility.
